Finally after so many years of wishing, dreaming, growing and building, Trish Hunter Finds is now in a bricks and mortar vintage store.
Two sole trading passionate vintage businesses, Trish Hunter Finds and Audiosalvage have created a seperate new and exciting vintage shop and concept.
It’s called ‘Hunter & Co. Vintage’
Inside Hunter & Co. Vintage, you can find various separate vintage businesses including me – Trish Hunter Finds, Audiosalvage, and upstairs we have a variety of stall holders also under the Hunter & Co. roof.
It’s a HUGE 200 sq meter vintage shop located at 553 Plenty Road Preston!
The shop is open 3 days a week
Fri, Sat & Sun
The shop is a little different than most.
We’ve been told by many that it’s like a ‘Vintage Ikea’
The front room
The cabinet room
The main room
The front room consists of four divided areas that have been decorated in four different styles. Each room rotates with complete vintage dioramas. One day it may be a loungeroom, kitchen, office, dining room. The options are endless.
Each room is completely functional so you can imagine the items in your own house.
The cabinet room is a room full of cabinets that display vintage collectables, smalls, toys, antiques, odds and ends, trinkets, glass, ceramics and more.
The Main room is a large room where our counters are. Here you can find a mixture of everything. Thousands of LP records, vintage furniture, antiques, glass, books, kitchenalia, tiki pieces, wow everything.
Then upstairs. Currently filled with furniture, but we’re slowly moving in stall holders! Our first is Strato-streak vintage who specialises in vintage clothing, vintage patterns, homewares and pretty things.
How do you get here?
You can get there by catching the 86 Tram – Waterfront City Docklands – Bundoora RMIT
Get off at stop 51 (Wood St Opposite a Vinnies store) And we’re a few shops down.
Look out for our big black and white sign on the roof!
Please note: if you’re driving, there’s a clearway out the front on the Friday from 4-6:30pm, and the inspectors are quick to fine!
But there’s plenty of parking on the side streets.
We’re at the very end (or the very beginning) of a very long strip of vintage shops.
Plenty Road is a continuation of High St that goes through Northcote & Thornbury which as up to 10 other vintage shops and many delicious cafes.
The tram that stops right outside our shops travels the whole distance and makes a great day out vintage shopping!
We look forward to having you visit our exciting vintage store that houses a range of sellers, businesses, and interesting objects.
