All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars.
Vintage items, though precious and fabulous, are not brand new, so small flaws and signs of wear, are a given with any Vintage item from any Vintage shop.
I do my best to describe any obvious flaws if any, and am selective when choosing the quality Vintage gems THF has for sale, making sure I only sell items with a lot of life left in them.
The photos provided are part of each items description so be sure to view them properly, as all items are sold AS IS!
Vintage clothing & collectables are where most of my passion and knowledge lies, however I can’t ever know everything, and can only describe items to the best of my knowledge.
I have no intentions to mislead or portray an item as something it’s not.
Postage
Postage quotes provided are to Australia only, and items under $100 are not registered. Items over $100 automatically have registered post added onto the cost of shipping.
If you’d like to add registered post onto your order under $100, please let me know prior to checking out.
If you choose to not register your parcel; though I pack things very well, I can’t be responsible for lost or damaged items through the post, and it will be posted at your own risk with no refunds if your item is lost or damaged.
Registered post is the safest way to post. It promises your item to be delivered, and if broken due to handling during its transit, you can claim your money back through Australia Post.
For International orders, please contact me and I’ll work out postage to your country and send you a money request via paypal for the items requested.
Where International orders are concerned, the buyer is responsible for any taxes etc incurred upon entry into their respective country.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
Pickup is always encouraged! It means I get to meet the new owner of the fabulous item, and know that the item is being delivered safely.
It also saves you on postage costs!
Items can be picked up every Sunday morning at Camberwell Market before 12pm.
It is asked that you pay for the item prior to pickup, so that I’m not lugging it back and forth risking damaging the piece in the process to have it not picked up.
If the item is too big to bring, we can arrange another time, so please email to arrange this.
Clothing, Shoes & Accessories
There are some items, mostly clothing & accessories that can have problems found after use. For example: Vintage shoes very commonly can have the rubber on the heal disintegrate from age once walked on again, or have the sole come away from the shoe as the glue is old and doesn’t hold like it used to.
When purchasing these hand picked items initially, I give them a very thorough inspection to try and scout any of these potential problems, but without actually wearing each item myself, it’s impossible to find these flaws that come with a lot of these items from any vintage shop.
All items that could have potential flaws like this, have been priced accordingly incase something like that should occur, so that if it happens that you have to get the sole re-glued, it’s still affordable after you’ve purchased the shoe.
In cases like these, I don’t accept returns or refunds.
Vintage clothing is measured in the following fashion:
Bust is measured from armpit to armpit – full circumference in centimeters.
All other measurements are taken lying flat in centimeters so please double to get accurate measurements.
Electricals
All electricals sold are second hand. Prior to leaving THF, they have been plugged in, and they all function, unless stated otherwise.
However I’m no electrician, so to stay on the safe side, you should have them professionally tested before used as I am not to be held responsible for electrical faults.
Laybys
I do take laybys. If you’d like to put something on layby, let me know and I’ll send out my layby form for you to fill in and return.
Laybys are strictly for one month only unless prior negotiated.
30% of the full amount is to be left on the item before the layby can go ahead.
No need to make further payments through the month, as long as the rest of the payment is received within the 30 days.
If full payment is not received within the 30 days, the item will be put back in store and the deposit on the item won’t be refunded.
Privacy
All information gathered for your account is used to fulfill your order only, the site is completely secure and no info will be shared with any third party. No banking or credit card information is stored here as all payments are via PayPal, or by pickup.
Returns
We hope that you love your purchase, but if not, returns are accepted under the following conditions only:
Items may not be returned due to change of mind, or if you have misread the description and or measurements of an item/garment.
Items that may be returned are items that are received faulty, or with damage that I may have missed in the listing. Shoes are not included in returns, please read the above headline under Clothing, Shoes & Accessories.
Returns will be issued in the form of store credit or exchange only, without exception.
Items must be returned to us in the exact condition they were dispatched, within 7 days of receipt for purchases in Australia, International to be discussed upon return application.
We must be notified immediately of your intention to return an item.
All returns incur a 15% restocking fee
All postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are non refundable.
Items already sold.
Due to THF having stock located in various locations, There is a very slim chance that an item on the website might have already sold when you too have purchased it.
(For example: Stock might sell at Camberwell market, and before I get home to mark it as sold, you too may have bought it on the website (this would be very coincidental) Therefore If this does occur, a full refund will be put back into your Paypal account and you won’t be out of pocket one cent. However as the item will have already left my hands, I won’t be able to get you the item.
This rare occurrence, though it’s never happened before, is out of my hands, and nothing more than an apology, and the refund will be offered.
